TPU 1000: Designed for Industries

Thermoplastic Polyurethane is a highly versatile elastomer with special properties that offers optimal performance in the most demanding industries. Our TPU 1000 sheets are formulated on a polyester basis and are included within the so-called aromatic polyurethanes.

Its main characteristics are:

Great elasticity and lightness.
High resistance to abrasion and extreme temperatures (-40 ºC / + 125ºC).
High resistance to chemical agents, greases, oils and hydrocarbons.
Salt water resistant.
Waterproof.
High puncture resistance.
Anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.
Complies with UNE EN 1186-5 food regulations.
High frequency weldable.
Recyclable.

Applications: Occupational protection, footwear, graphic industry, inflatables, medical and food equipment, waterproofing industry, childcare…

Due to its anti-allergic, eco-friendly and breathable qualities, our TPU 1000 is highly appreciated in the fashion clothing and footwear sector.
Their resistance to chemical agents and ease of washing make them in demand for occupational protective clothing such as aprons, arm warmers, etc.
Polyurethane is also used in advertising, inflatable tent production and to withstand extreme temperature conditions.
Thicknesses of 100/150/300/500/1000 microns in width 120/132/137/140/150 cm and length 30/50/100 m.
Available in high transparency, translucent, white, blue and black.
